Our Sports Therapist is a musculoskeletal specialist. In other words, a specialist in the relationship of how the joints, muscles, ligaments, nerves and bones function most optimally together. So, a Sports Therapist is specifically concerned with the prevention of injury and the rehabilitation of the patient back to optimum levels of functional, occupational and/or sports specific fitness. This means you don’t have to participate in sport to see a Sports Therapist.

Treatments can include but are not limited to joint mobilisation, soft tissue manipulation, acupuncture, dry needling, taping and exercise prescription. With the ability to use such a varied number of techniques, a Sports Therapist is able to treat almost any muscular and joint pain.
